Arrogant poker guru Uno Cheuk (Lau Ching Wan) sits at the top of Macau s leading casino, but the gambling empire s true heir is actually Jack Chang (Louis Koo), the immature son of the late casino owner. Uno calls Jack back from Canada, only to humiliate him and drive him out of the casino for good. Jack, who s a whiz in online poker but a dud at the table, just can t seem to win until he meets his lucky charm Smiley (Stephy Tang). To win back his casino and his pride, Jack determinely learns the ins and outs of Texas Hold em, and challenges Uno to a final showdown at the winner-takes-all Asia poker championship.
